I finished it when it came out.

Thought it was a solid game at the time easily an 8/10

Not quite GTA but not far away.

Probably aged badly like all the old GTA games did.


Coulda been a good series to rival GTA one day if they would have kept it going in different war settings.

a quick google suggests the original devs company folded

I played it at the time and it was a great fun game. Driving over, beating up, shooting and blowing up Nazi's really doesn't get old. :D Still have it on EA. May have to reinstall it and give it a go on modern hardware. The way that liberated places become colourised from the grayscale and red of the Nazi areas was impressive at the time. Still original too. I did enjoy that when you turn the nudity on and off the protagonist makes comments too. :D

Such a shame that this was Pandemic's last game. They did produce some good stuff, much of it had a sense of humour too. Destroy All Humans in particular. EA seems to exist to buy and close down studios and produce infinite crappy sports games.
