Help me understand AIO Fan and Pump settings

I recently bought a pre-built and it came with an AIO cooler. I think it's a coolermaster and it simply has 1 exhaust fan attached to the AIO. When I was playing games I noticed it was ramping up sometimes and getting very loud (temps were fine though) so I think it was just the fan curve that needed tweaking in the bios. Anyway, I also noticed pump speed and it was set to run at full speed all the time in the bios, is it fine to run pump speed at max with a fan curve that doesn't exceed 65% fan speed ?

No harm testing it to see if temps remain ok.
If it starts getting too hot you can always change it back

I have my fans at 30% and pump at 50% until the CPU goes over 50c, then I have them step up a bit but I don't have either at 100% until 75c because CPUs are designed to be able to run quite warm and I prefer a quiet system
