Recommendations for newbie (£500 budget)

Hi all,

I’m new to the whole home cinema game. I currently have a Samsung TV with a Sky Stream and PS5 connected. I want something that will work with everything seamlessly and important to the Mrs, something that can be controlled, like the rest of the TV, with the Sky Remote.

Budget is about £500. I’ve been looking at the Sonos Beam but not sure whether I’d get better compatibility with a Samsung soundbar or whether even a soundbar is the way to go?

Its stretching the budget a bit still but its an excellent unit, will be controlled with your Samsung/sky tv remote and is very very easy to set-up with the rear wireless speakers.

(Edit to add - we got one a few months ago and are super happy with it. Used the trade-in and other than the courier messing the trade-in collection up, couldn't be happier with the value for the price)
