Tidal doing away with higher tier

I think it depends on the track. All I know is that the majority of it sounds great on my system and I don't care if it's not true to the original way it was meant to be heard or whatever.

I always prefer music in stereo - it's how it's supposed to sound.
I do like surround/Atmos but only if the recording is from a live event for example
