Maybe the sale is only for those who haven't given in to the Dark Side...
I suppose you could try getting in touch with Meta support. Or maybe send someone who does have the discount the money and they could buy the game you want and gift it to you?

i am not that fussed, tbh it may be a good excuse not to add to the pile of shame.... just weird. i will try and log in when i get home incase it is something to do with our work IP address or something

could you buy it then gift it across ?
No, it looks like you can only 'buy as a gift' for the pinball but I cant't see an option to buy as a gift for the other two offers.

I'm waiting on a psvr2 deal now that Sony have confirmed they are working on pc support. I think I'll jump in at around £400 - there is a used one for sale near me for £300 but I'm going to hold out for a deal on a new one. I've been catching up on psvr2 content on YouTube and was surprised how many games look very cool. I will keep my quest 1 mainly for beat saber, fitvr and synth riders.
