Hey guys,

A friend of mine has asked for help buying their next phone, and has decided on a Samsung Galaxy S23.

We've found a 256GB version on a popular rainforest themed website, which is significantly cheaper than anywhere else, but the phone is listed as the "Global Version".

The seller itself is via the Samsung Store, so it doesn't seem like a scam, but what is it about the Global Version that makes it so cheap? Is it one to avoid, and should we go for the normal UK version?

If it's the one I think it is, it's not the Samsung store.
The link you're looking at (below the title) just links to Samsung.

Look at Sold By below the add to basket button to see who the seller really is.
(It's somebody in Ilford who seems to make their money importing from HK etc. and re-selling grey market goods)

I'd assume no warranty, but other than that the phone is probably fine, just grey-market.
