Too many cheaters, and from my experience with one server if you die, the game kicks you out and you need to reload the server

Well thats how it works, same thing with Arma 3 Battle Royale. My only gripe is the servers dont say there is a still an active game ongoing or not before attempting to join. As for cheaters, not seen any streamers mention this yet or any complaints.
RunningManz has been playing and not complained about anything yet either.

I used to play a bit of Day-Z with the GSV guys back in the day, was a bit more enjoyable than the normal running around shooting people thing..
Came across our first cheater on DayZ today 
I was in a field, guy goes to aim at me. My mate shoots at him, and he instantly spins around and does a clean kill. Then as I rushed into town, aiming for a snipe position he was avoiding every single view I had on him with my gun. As if he knew I was aiming at him. So I went into town, out the other side, around the back of the woods, down the woods and he came straight up the woods towards me and instant kill. Not sure if he was using soft aim, but 100% ESP

I can't get into it. Had really hoped AI would be a big part and some half decent Arma 3 exile mod would win me over

arma did slip up bad tbh and bohemia. was hoping they could rekindle some of the magic and fun we had like in arma 2 mods and arma 3 dayz the mod and so on but nope. nothing but garbage. shame as dayz the mod was probably one of the best games at the time ever.

I've just recently got back into playing this and really enjoying it, not as good as part of a group - but it does half make my heart race once I encounter another player whilst solo'ing! Is there any 'official' DayZ squads happy to take on a born again newbie?

I recommend Dayz Aftermath for survival or Xconquest for battles
