Yeah didn't find it on preorder elsewhere
I am guessing here
But I saw something like this on Facebook group
From maybe a Vietnamese guy I think
So his design idea might be something to do with this
Think @Jay85 might know who I mean

I expected maybe couple hundred
Which still isn't exactly cheap just for a cpu block

their pre orders can have any sort of mad price against them. that said i don't buy much from ocuk anymore so not sure how common it is now for them to stick rando stupid prices on stuff.
Yeah I don't preorder
But seen preorder stuff on there
With correct prices before

You may be right
Maybe same guy who prices B grade stuff lol
See things in there that are more expensive than the new one
Though theres a bit of an excuse for that
As prices drop
But sometimes takes them a very long time
To upgrade the B price

Yeah i know the guy, speak to him privately every so often.

Ban designed it with his own resources and made a deal with Bitspower so they can manufacturer it is basically what happened. There's a bit more to it but i best not say anything else as it's not any of my business.

I should have a review sample of this coming next month so will let you know my thoughts on it.

Yeah just found it on a Taiwan site
Approx £189 plus tax etc
Wonder why ocuk have it at silly price?
Usually their preorders show correct price don't they?

OCUK have all of the new Bitspower stuff on preorder under the same price, it's just a temporary pricing placement until they get stock. I suspect they did this because they don't know when they're getting their stock.

Fair play to the guy
Very innovative
Glad he picked bitspower and not ek
With current situation there

Probably a no for me
Simply because I would want the whole BTF build lol
also makes me wonder how much space you need
between motherboard and rear panel
And you're still left with the gpu tubing
Right in front of you
In a standard sort of build
It might work great in some of your builds though
Definitely look forward to your thoughts on it
And seeing you build with it of course

I spoke to him briefly about the MiniFusion project, he said if i wanted to at the time adapt the the block to fit between the Xtia XProto Mini case, baring in mind how little space there is between the centre column is darn impressive. I'm using this block for my next project just to minimise tubing runs everywhere.

Sort of makes sense
But what if I actually want to preorder it
Just tried
And right up to make payment
It still wants 1200 quid
No mention of we won't take payment
Until its in stock
And price will be adjusted then
Obviously I didn't pay to see what happens

To me anyway
If you don't have correct price and estimated delivery date
Should just say coming soon
Then once they have correct price and estimated delivery
Should it change to you can preorder

I think its more to stop people from trying , same principle from when we had the gpu draught and they set gpu prices to 9999 to stop people from buying them... aside from the bots that looted everything  and got stung.

Yeah i agreed, should just change it to coming soon instead.

@Jay85 Hmmmm
Makes me wonder
Could he make one where same idea
Coolant comes through the "legs"
But then comes out a g1/4 port on top of cpu block
Short tube run to gpu and back
And back into cpu block with a second port
And back through the "legs"
Leaving only 2 very short tubing runs visible
Or with vertical gpu mount those might not even be visible at all

The one with blue coolant
Looks sort of like what I tried to describe lol
Except in a full atx case
Where in and out on gpu uses two rear ports
On gpu block

Chuck it in a build and take some nice pics please :D.

Not something I'd use myself but I always appreciate something a bit different with engineering behind it, especially when it has a bit of bit of a "guy in his shed" about it.
