Beware of pickpockets, we were there in March and one day twice in one hour they tried it with me but I was too aware, the first time we were walking along and I felt a very slight tug on my trouser leg pocket, turned round and told him what a naughty person he was.
He must have been right behind me crouching down as I was walking, had no idea he was there. We had just come out of a shop and he must have watched put my wallet away.
The second time I was walking up some stairs into a park and felt a slight touch, turned round and there was a young couple right behind me with the bloke pretending to read a map which he was holding up to cover his hand.
Both times they were well dressed and you wouldn't have suspected them any other time
Velcro flaps on the pockets are good as they have to pull on them quite hard to open the flap.
