Need CPU and Graphics card upgrade advice please

Hi team!

I did something stupid (Normal for me) I bought a quest 3 VR thing to use with my PC (Elite dangerous and such) and my PC is to weak to load the simplest of the games i have, it's still a cool thing to mess around with but i can't use it as i hoped.
I'm hoping i can upgrade my CPU and graphics cars and sort the issue.

All my stuff is a year old, but i currently have a Asus Geforce RTX 3070 Ti Tuf 8GB GDDR6 PCI Express and a Core i5 13600kf (Raptor Lake) LGA 1700 Processor.

Any advise or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Umm. You have a really good PC right now, can you elaborate on the problems you're having?

Upgrading the CPU is more than likely to be pointless since there's not really any Intel CPU that offers much more at higher resolutions.

Your graphics card, you can upgrade that, but realistically you'd need e.g. a 4070 Ti Super or 4080 Super to make it impactful and that's going to cost you a lot of money.

As said above. You have a good enough system already. RTX 4080's are at a silly price still. Unless you have the spare cash?
