Hey.

Looking for advice on a build for about £3k but it's not a hard budget... would push to 3.5k IF its worth the bang for buck.

1 X Corsair RMx Series RM850x 80 PLUS Gold Fully Modular ATX Power Supply (CP-9020200-UK) - £147.95

1 X Cooler Master HAF700 EVO Windowed Full Tower Case - Black Tempered Glass - £400.00

£3k and no 4090...

what is the build for? gaming or work use?
is 64gb ram needed?
why only pcie3 ssds?
intel only or can amd be considered?
why pair a -k cpu with a non-z mobo?

Assuming the usage is just gaming, then for 2K5 I would change the build to:

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £2,401.91 (includes delivery: £11.98)

Cooler: this (under £50).

Memory is a bit slow, but OCUK stock of 64GB kits isn't huge.

For 3K:

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £2,983.88 (includes delivery: £0.00)

Cooler: as above.
Memory: as above.

1 X Corsair Vengeance RGB EXPO 64GB (2X32GB) DDR5 PC5-44800C40 5600MHz Dual Channel Kit - Black (CMH64GX5M2B5600Z40K) - £209.98

Probably best not to use EXPO in an Intel build, if you can help it.

1 X Corsair RMx Series RM850x 80 PLUS Gold Fully Modular ATX Power Supply (CP-9020200-UK) - £147.95

This is the older, pre-ATX 3.0/PCIE5 PSU, the SHIFT is the new one (but you have to check if a side mount modular panel works for the case). You can buy an adapter if you want a cable for the 4080 12/16 pin, or I guess just use the one that comes with the card. Alternatively, you could look at MSI's A850G PCIE5 for a similar price.
