Hi All

Looking to buy a new PC. Nothing fancy, but just to browse the internet, eBay and the forums, emails, watching Youtube and doing some accounts work at home.
Which brand is most reliable, runs ok for general uses, and good value for money?
Where would be the best place to buy PC nowadays. Haven't bought new PC for years, just have been using the old Apple iMac for years and still using it.

cheers.

What's wrong with the iMac that's promoting you to upgrade? For web browsing only I see no point in changing unless it's acting up.

What's your budget? Do you need a monitor and peripherals?

You might be better off with a cheap tablet or laptop.

It would be for another room at downstairs, so wife can use it too.
Budget would be around 3-400££
We have spare monitors and keyboards, but new PC might be supplied with kb and mouse in the deal I browsed and saw.
It is just the fact that I wasn't sure which ones would be good ones to go for these days.
Would it be worth paying more for the branded ones or just the cheaper nameless unfamiliar ones would be ok, was not sure.

a preowned workstation from ebay is probably all you will need tbh.
wouldn't look to spend more than £200 for a working specimen
