Planning ahead to Salah and Son returning, along with potential blanks in GW26 for Spurs, Chelsea and Liverpool looks like it could be challenging. If Liverpool double in GW25 then we’ll want Salah back without selling TAA but the budget will be very tight if one is also keeping Watkins and Solanke to go along with Haaland. Interesting times ahead.

Well I've never been in the top thousand before and I very much doubt my luck will last especially as I've used both wildcards and there's blanks/doubles coming up.

Mind you I've sat on wildcards before, that's never worked out well when I did then use them, and wasted points on transfers. Seeing if I can avoid that this season.

Anyway, I fully expect to drop to midtable glory at some point :)

He has another match yet, I wouldn't count him out of returning bigly.

E: I continue to bench the wrong players, that's not helping stop the wheels fall off my team

I forgot to bring on Raya and had Hammer's keeper instead! Solanke also had points on the bench :)
Haaland hopefully does some damage and grabs a brace and some assists. He is not tearing it up as he used to due to injury it seems.

3 to go, next weekend then DGW then final weekend.

I wasted my FH in GW29 like many others. I had planned to use it in the DGW but changed my mind at the last moment and it’s cost me a top 3 finish this year after just missing out last season as well.

Good luck in the final few weeks, hopefully a few of us can finish in the top 10k

It'll be hard to achieve top 10k. Top place and I (2nd) are both 25k, 1 point apart. At that stage, it's very hard to move rank significantly because eveyone is having similar scores. I've barely moved rank in last few weeks.

Took a hit this week but no where near topping any of the leagues I was in. Never had a blow out lead with a savvy captain as those around had similar players most of the season.

I can tell you that this win was 100% unexpected! Well done to Peter and Paddy for the close race to the end. Who are Peter and Paddy on the forums? I had even forgotten there were material prizes.

I've done exceptionally well this year, winning all friends leagues and few small pots odlf winnings £50 or so. Usually I'm lingering 3rd or 4th in most leagues, so I am delighted. The only way is down now.

Edit: looking at Peter's squad, Foden in my team made all the difference. Peter was unlucky to have zero from Saka and Gusto.
