Thanks. Heard some horror stories

The website calculator told me the 5th if I withdraw before 8pm today. So I did and it confirmed ‘by the 8th’, which isn’t much help as I wanted to meet the ISA deadline! Here’s hoping it’s the 5th.

Won £50 this month, since April last year I've won £175 in total on an investment of just under £2k.

That's amazing.
I've been in since October with an average of 6k and won 100.
But I've always been unlucky with lottery type stuff.

One more draw with 17k then I'm done.

With 6k in since October you are a bit under the average rate but then premium bonds are about luck and fun, not maximum returns.

I went into it on the basis of gambling the interest I would have got.
So yeah that would be single100 win makes it not so bad.
13.5k was last draw. 17k for next draw.
Then I'll take it out and buy my van.
I had 1k in October's draw and it's grown to 17 so on average has been about 6k per draw.

If I put the 17k in a variable saver I'd be hitting the 500 limit for tax with my other savings. So kind of made sense.
