Unlucky West ham
Started the game well and could and should have been a couple of goals up at HT but we've completely ran out of steam in the 2nd half. The tie was lost in the first leg though. I know it's a hard balance when you're playing every 3 days but the selection made you think that we thought it would be easy and we played like we thought we just had to go through the motions.
Just been totally bamboozled by the man to man marking

Aye according to SkySports it was only gone for sure if none of them went through but with Leverkusen going through not sure how it adds up.
Think its gone to Germany, Leverkusen, Dortmund, Bayern all through in Europe. All we have is Villa.

Aston Villa have a 2-1 first-leg lead against Lille in the Europa Conference League, but even if Unai Emery's side win and then win both their semi-final games and the final, it would not be enough for England to overtake Germany without one of West Ham or Liverpool progressing to the semi-finals of the Europa League.
Fiorentina have won tonight too plus Roma so any points Liverpool got for a win have been cancelled out by them, Italy basically have a spot and England probably needs the German teams to lose both legs and hope Villa with all 3 potential games but not sure thats even enough
Apparently you get points for game wins so Liverpool winning has helped, Villa too if pens count as a game win. But Italy have had two wins tonight
German teams probably have to lose every game now and Villa win out.
