I changed a dashboard in one of my previous cars and it was never the same. I found it constantly creaked when going over bumps and hard cornering. It drove me nuts.

I'm not saying I did it perfectly or it could have been better, but it's definitely worth considering there could be unintended consequences!
Yeah I completely get what you are saying, it's been in place for some 20 years, it's not going to end well if I start trying to change it!

I'm not completely against the red, it could grow on me. The other points of this car in particular tick the boxes.

I've enquired and will give it some thought. Ultimately I do feel black dash with red carpet would be ideal

Looks great. Decent price too.
Thanks I saw this one too but it's just too far unfortunately also the rear wing looks a bit out of place, but I imagine it looks better in person!

Do love it in red with that shade of wheel. Lovely

That’s a rare oem wing. It’s probably rare for a reason, it’s a bit marmite but I don’t think it looks bad. The front lip on the other hand is a must. Transforms the car.

Yeah definitely wouldn't say it's bad by any means, just not sure if I would prefer the look without one.

I agree on the front lip, that looks the part. Is that OEM too?

Where do we stand on Full red interior?

This one's for sale and almost spot on except for this marmite detail.

I just don't know. I think it's maybe a bit much? But kind of works
Sure, a bit more 'black' in places for contrast would be perfect, but over all black, I'd take that any day..

The red/grey colour combo is one of the best IMO, definitely something I'd pay a premium for.. when I was looking at AMV8 roadsters, one was in Tungsten Grey with a Crimson full interior, which I wasn't sure about in the pictures, but in the flesh it looked fantastic and the Mrs who is much more moderate in colour choice loved it and every black interior we saw after that looked dull.

I do feel like I'd take this over full black interior aswell if it was one or the other.

And I suppose this trim was so marmite that it may be considered.. "rare" to some extent, which is also kind of appealing

I've heard back about the one with red interior. Sounds like it has good service history however only the first 2 were done at honda, the rest were carried out by a local independent garage. Same one every year since. Is that a concern? I understand the s2000 can be a bit specialist?

I wouldn't be overly concerned if it's a decent independent.

I mean the only specialist things I'd say are valve clearances, alignment - because of seized bolts and things like chain tensioner rattle not being noticed etc.

rest is just.. NA honda
