the tuf b540-plus is a solid mid range board..make sure you don't want wifi though or get the wifi version...think it's £10 more over here so check where you are

the 3x0c vs 2xoc from just reading without actually checking wouldf just be a 3fan or 2 fan cooler...the 3 fan generally can do the same cooling job of the dual fans, but the fans themselves spin slower(and also the finstacks are generally larger), generally meaning the 3 fan solution s/b quieter

the 4000d is a good case but comes with 1 fan. it can only take a 240mm aio in the top as it's shorter(back to front) than the 216 case...the 216 case is a redesign of the 215 case...it has 2 160mm fans at the front and can take a 360mm aio in the roof(215, like the 4000d is 240 mm), and can take a gpu up to 392mm in length(360mm for 4000d)...i prefer the 216 just as it allows a 360mm in roof if you ever upgrade to a much more powerful cpu that require more cooling and also comes with the 2 front fans....i assume for 118euro that's the rgb version? or non rgb...they do both, at different prices

they're both very good cases though, and seeing as you going for a smaller gpu and an air cooler, the 4000d is more than good enough

Yes thats what i found out through a benchmark video, no performance difference only sound.
As i dont imagine myself upgrading any time soon i think i will go for the cheaper one as long as it doesnt need additional aio, if it does and the 216 doesnt i will spend 30 euros more and go for the 216.
Its non rgb version, strangely higher priced than the rgb version but that one takes 3-7 months to ship

yeah, from what I can see csgo doesn't benefit from the 3d vcache, and is purely down to single thread core speed, though cs2 might benefit from the vcache. saw from reading someone with a 5600x and 3070 gets sustained 300fps, so 7600x/4070 should easily beat that. wouldn't do intel now as eol platform and 9000 series cpu around the corner, and if rumours are true then will be a massive speed bump again, and so amd will slaughter current intel, and their (intel) next release will be a new socket so can't be compared as you'd have to replace mobo also
though still having a look on yt about 3d vs non 3d cpu's

i agree, some guy on reddit said i should wait for zen 5 but i fell like its gonna get pricy and i dont feel like i need more than 7800X3D the 1% lows are basically = to my 270 refresh rate monitor and it runs AAA well enough for me

you can see cs2 at the 13min mark and yes the 4070 with 7800x3d beats the 4070 with the 7600, but the gpu is the mkost expensive part of the build, and look at the 4070ti with the 7800x3d..trouces the 4070...so you still get good fps with the 7600 cpu at 1080p (453fps and 1% low of 271fps)..the 7600x will be better than that..the 7800x3d with same 4070 is 512 and 282..so 1% low diff is only 11fps diff)...now if you had the 4070ti and upgraded cpu down the line look at the 4070ti with the 7800x3d...fps jumps to 612fps, 1%low 381....it's all what you want to spend your money on and what you want to get out of it now, and how you view your upgrade path, or if you want to do it at all

but then look at other games..i dont have a monitor that comes close to the lows of either the 7600 or 7800x3d, but worth a watch

its a 4070 super, i asked AI it said its 17.29% better than the 4070 and about 11% lesser than 4070ti. Wich means that at 1080p the 4070 super is expected to deliver aprox 600 fps avrg and 330 1% lows wich i believe based on the 1440p stats of the video i linked.
The 4070ti is almost 300 euros more i m not paying that for 11% if that number is correct.
My whole am5 build started with the 7800X3D even before knowing about the 7600X and comparing the two.
Not only it beats it in every benchmark apart from a slight lesser single thread perf but it has to be awarded best current CPU for a reason and only costs 160 euros more so to me its ez choice. As long as the GPU allows good stability, brings the 1% lows at or near my 270 refresh rate and allows me to get pleasant experience with potential AAA its perfect for me.

otherwise check the price of the crucial P5 plus 1tb drive..just gone on offer here at £61 (71euro)..the 2tb crucial p3 plus is £115 (134euro), which still step down from the p5 plus, still faster than the sn580, not that you'd notice...that one is couple euro more

crucial P5 are around 280 euros, 1to P3+ at 83 euros and 2to P3+ at 135 euros. If 2 tb is only about the memory i know from my previous 1 tb that its enough for the few games i install.
The 3+ is 20% faster for 10 euros less, the other has nCache 4.0 but thats just for ultra fast copying of files wich i dont need. Thanks
